국립 한밭대학교는 1927년 개교한 이래 지난 100여 년 동안 ‘성실, 인화, 창조’의 정신으로 심오한 학문의 이론과 응용을 연구하고 가르치며, 이를 통해 인류사회를 선도할 인재를 양성하고, 사회혁신을 이끌 산학협력을 발전시켜왔다. 그동안 우리대학이 배출한 졸업생들의 사회 각계각층에서 활약한 눈부신 활동은 지역사회와 국가 및 인류의 발전과 번영에 크게 기여해 왔다.
우리 한밭대학교는 국립대학으로서, 바른 인성과 높은 윤리의식을 갖추고 공동체 발전을 위하여 소통하고 화합하는 도덕적 사회인, 실용적 전문지식과 융합적 사고를 바탕으로 미래사회의 새로운 가치를 창출하는 창의적 지식인, 글로벌 마인드와 진취적 기상으로 지역을 넘어 세계로 나가는 도전적 세계인 양성을 통해 기본이 강한 글로컬 리더를 배출함으로써, 미래가치를 창출하는 글로컬 혁신대학으로 도약할 것을 다짐한다.
이에 국립 한밭대학교의 구성원들은 교육과 연구 및 봉사를 바탕으로 「기본이 강한 글로컬 리더｣를 양성하는 요람으로서, 또 새로운 100년의 비약적인 발전을 준비하는 국립 한밭대학교의 염원을 실현하기 위하여, 개인의 도덕적, 윤리적 의식 수준을 높이고, 올바른 판단과 행동을 할 수 있는 규범을 제정하여 실천하고자 <국립 한밭대학교 윤리헌장>을 선포한다.
첫째, 교수는 교육자로서 학생의 인격과 권리를 존중하고, 국적과 인종, 종교와 사상, 성(性)과 외모, 자질과 능력 등의 다양성을 인정한다. 이를 기반으로 교수는 학생들이 사회가 필요로 하는 전문지식, 인격과 교양을 갖춘 인재로 성장할 수 있도록 교육한다.
둘째, 교수는 연구자로서, 연구 활동이 기본 사명임을 인식하고, 연구윤리를 준수하며, 올바른 방법과 지적 정직성을 바탕으로 학문을 연구하여 학문적 성취를 이루기 위해 노력한다.
셋째, 교수는 봉사자로서, 자신의 전문지식과 연구성과를 바탕으로 국가와 지역사회에 대한 봉사에 적극 참여하여 국가와 지역사회 및 인류공동체의 발전에 이바지한다.
넷째, 교수는 대학의 역사와 전통을 존중하고, 대학 구성원을 공동체의 일원이자 대학 발전의 동반자로서 존중하며, 대학발전을 위한 제도개혁과 교육과정 개선 활동에 적극 참여한다.
다섯째, 교수는 우리 사회 최고의 지성인으로서 양식과 품위를 가지고 명예를 지키며, 공정성과 도덕성을 유지한다.
첫째, 직원은 행정 전문가로서, 높은 직업의식과 자긍심을 가지고, 스스로의 역량을 계발하여 변화와 도약을 선도하는 창의적 행정을 수행한다.
둘째, 직원은 행정의 신뢰성 및 투명성을 위해 법령, 학칙 및 제 규정 등을 숙지하고 이를 준수하며, 재직 중은 물론 퇴직 후에도 직무상 알게 된 비밀을 누설하지 않는다.
셋째, 직원은 대학 행정 서비스 이용자에 대하여 친절과 봉사의 자세를 가지며, 구성원 간의 관계에서 예절과 품위를 지킨다.
넷째, 직원은 대학의 역사와 전통을 존중하고, 대학 구성원을 대학 공동체의 일원이자 대학발전의 동반자로서 존중한다.
다섯째, 직원은 직무와 관련하여 공정성과 도덕성을 유지하며, 품위를 지켜 대학의 명예와 위상 제고를 위해 노력한다.
첫째, 조교는 대학의 각각의 분야에서 전문적 지식을 가진 현장 실무자로서, 높은 직업의식과 자긍심을 가지고 스스로의 역량을 계발하여 변화와 도약을 선도하는 창의적 업무를 수행한다.
둘째, 조교는 교육ㆍ연구 및 학사에 관한 업무의 신뢰성 및 투명성을 위해 법령, 학칙 및 제 규정 등을 숙지하고 이를 준수하며, 재직 중은 물론 퇴직 후에도 직무상 알게 된 비밀을 누설하지 않는다.
셋째, 조교는 대학의 교육, 연구 및 학사행정 서비스 이용자에 대하여 친절과 봉사의 자세를 가지며, 구성원 간의 관계에서 예절과 품위를 지킨다.
넷째, 조교는 대학 역사와 전통을 존중하고, 대학 구성원을 대학 공동체의 일원이자 대학발전의 동반자로 존중한다.
다섯째, 조교는 직무와 관련하여 공정성과 도덕성을 유지하며, 품위를 지켜 대학의 명예와 위상 제고를 위해 노력한다.
첫째, 학생은 바른 인성과 높은 윤리의식을 갖도록 노력하고, 학업에 정진하여 지식과 경험을 쌓아 공동체 발전을 위해 필요한 인재가 되기 위해 노력한다.
둘째, 학생은 자기 발전을 위해 교과 및 비교과 활동을 성실하게 수행하고, 그 과정에서 결코 부정한 방법을 사용하지 않는다.
셋째, 학생은 다른 학생의 인격과 권리를 존중하고 배려하며, 국적과 인종, 종교와 사상, 성(性)과 외모, 자질과 능력 등의 다름을 인정하여 차별적 태도를 취하지 않는다.
넷째, 학생은 교수와 직원 및 조교를 존중하고, 모든 행동에서 예의와 품위를 지키며, 학교 시설을 아끼고 소중하게 다룬다.
다섯째, 학생은 한밭대 학생으로서의 자긍심을 가지고 교내·외 활동에 적극적으로 참여하여 대학의 명예와 위상 제고를 위해 노력한다.
For nearly 100 years since its establishment in 1927, Hanbat National University has researched and taught in-depth academic theories and applications, fostered human resources to lead society, and established university-industry cooperation in pursuit of social innovation with the spirit of ‘sincerity, harmony, and creativity.’ Hanbat National University graduates have contributed greatly to the development and prosperity of local communities, countries, and humankind through their incredible successes in various fields.
Hanbat National University is determined to become a glocal innovative university, capable of creating future-oriented value. This will be achieved by educating students as well-founded glocal leaders; fostering morally sound community members who can communicate effectively and harmonize communities; encouraging creative intellectuals to promote new values for a society based on practical expertise and convergent thinking; cultivating pioneering global citizens who can expand the scope of activities from local communities to the world by stimulating global mindsets and progressive spirits.
To realize its dream, Hanbat National University seeks to create the ideal learning environment for nurturing ‘well-founded glocal leaders’ based on education, research, and voluntary service, and to lay strong foundations over the next 100 years. The members of Hanbat National University herein declare to enact the Hanbat National University Ethics Charter to practice norms that elevate the moral and ethical consciousness of individuals.
First, as educators, professors must respect the individual personalities and rights of students, the diversity of nationalities and ethnic groups, religions and ideologies, gender and appearance, and qualities and capabilities. Professors must educate students to cultivate talent equipped with the professional knowledge, character, and manners required by society.
Second, as researchers, professors shall recognize that research is a basic responsibility. Professors must also comply with research ethics and righteously undertake studies to achieve remarkable accomplishments.
Third, as volunteers, professors shall utilize their expertise and research accomplishments to actively participate in activities for the country, contributing to the advancement of local communities, countries, and humankind.
Fourth, professors shall hold in high esteem the history and traditions of the university, respect all faculty members as colleagues of the community and partners in university development, and positively participate in curriculum improvement activities for the development of the university.
Fifth, as leading intellectuals in our society, professors must uphold their honor with refinement and dignity, always promoting justice and morality.
First, as administrative experts, university staff shall maintain the utmost professionalism and pride, develop competence, and carry out administrative work in a way that leads to desirable change and advancement.
Second, university staff shall fully understand and comply with education-related laws and university rules, regulations, and guidelines to maintain the credibility and transparency of the administration. University staff must never divulge secrets related to their duties not only during their term of employment but also after retirement.
Third, university staff shall express an attitude of kindness toward the receivers of the university’s administrative services, and maintain polite manners and dignity toward other staff members.
Fourth, the staff shall hold in high esteem the history and traditions of the university and respect all university members as colleagues of the community and partners in university development.
Fifth,the staff shall promote justice and morality in relation to their duties and maintain dignity to enhance the honor and status of the university.
First, as experts in each department of the university, teaching assistants shall have high professionalism and pride, continuously develop their competence, and undertake creative work in a way that leads to desirable change and advancement.
Second, teaching assistants shall fully understand and comply with education-related laws and university rules, regulations, and guidelines to maintain the credibility and transparency of work related to education, research, and academic affairs. Teaching assistants must never divulge secrets related to their duties not only during their term of employment but also after retirement.
Third, teaching assistants must offer services with kindness to the receivers of the university’s education, research, and academic affairs services, and maintain polite manners and dignity toward other teaching assistants.
Fourth, teaching assistants shall hold in high esteem the history and traditions of the university and respect all university members as colleagues of the community and partners in the development of the university.
Fifth,teaching assistants shall maintain high moral standards concerning their duties and strive to enhance and uphold the honor and status of the university by maintaining an exemplary attitude.
First, students must strive to have a good character and high ethical awareness to become human resources necessary for community development by devoting themselves to their studies and accumulating practical professional knowledge.
Second, students shall earnestly perform curricular and extracurricular tasks in pursuit of self-development, refraining from adopting dishonest methods in the process.
Third, students must respect the individual personalities and rights of other students and not express any discriminatory attitudes by acknowledging differences in nationality and race, religion and ideology, sex and appearance, and qualities and abilities.
Fourth, students must respect professors, staff, and teaching assistants, maintain courtesy and dignity in all actions, and regard school facilities as if they were their own.
Fifth,students must strive to enhance and uphold the honor and status of the university by actively participating in on-campus and off-campus activities with pride as Hanbat National University students.
