Professors‘ Code of Ethics
Based on high morality and social responsibility, the professors of Hanbat National University shall be committed to fostering morally sound community members, creative intellectuals, and pioneering global citizens who can contribute to the advancement and prosperity of local communities, countries, and humankind adopting the motto of ‘sincerity, harmony, and creativity.’
First, as educators, professors must respect the individual personalities and rights of students, the diversity of nationalities and ethnic groups, religions and ideologies, gender and appearance, and qualities and capabilities. Professors must educate students to cultivate talent equipped with the professional knowledge, character, and manners required by society.
Second, as researchers, professors shall recognize that research is a basic responsibility. Professors must also comply with research ethics and righteously undertake studies to achieve remarkable accomplishments.
Third, as volunteers, professors shall utilize their expertise and research accomplishments to actively participate in activities for the country, contributing to the advancement of local communities, countries, and humankind.
Fourth, professors shall hold in high esteem the history and traditions of the university, respect all faculty members as colleagues of the community and partners in university development, and positively participate in curriculum improvement activities for the development of the university.
Fifth, as leading intellectuals in our society, professors must uphold their honor with refinement and dignity, always promoting justice and morality.
