      • In case you are not to submit the document, please submit the enrollment certification from the first year of elementary school to undergraduate completion indicating the whole period of attendance.

• After completing the online application, print out the form.
• Applicant’s photo should be included. (This photo will be used for the student ID card.)

Official Degree Certificate

• Applicants who graduated / are expected to graduate from universities outside of Korea must submit original copy of graduation certificate along with degree certificate.
• Applicants who hold bachelor’s / master’s degree outside of Korea must submit apostille certificates or
• Submit certificates of applicant’s educational background notarized by the Korean embassy / consul in the country where the school is located. (Or notarized by the applicant’s embassy / consul in Korea.)
• Applicants who graduated / are expected to graduate from universities in China should submit a certificate of graduation and a certificate of a degree, both a notarized Korean version and the original.
• Applicants who graduated/are expected to graduate from universities in China should submit Original copy from China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development Center (CDGDC, 敎育部學位與硏究生敎育發展中心, http://www.cdgdc.edu.cn/) or CHSI (中國高等敎育學歷査詢 報告, http://www.chsi.com.cn). Please have it notarized and translated into Korean.
• For applicants who do not submit verified educational documents, his/her admission will be rescinded.

Official Transcript

• Applicants who hold bachelor’s / master’s degree outside of Korea must submit apostille certificates or
• Applicants who hold bachelor’s / master’s degree outside of Korea must submit transcript notarized by the Korean embassy / consul in the country where the school is located. (Or notarized by the applicant’s embassy / consul in Korea.)
• Applicants who graduated/are expected to graduate from universities in China should submit a certificate of graduation and a certificate of a degree both notarized Korean version and the original.
• Applicants who hold bachelor’s degree / master’s from transferred universities (Colleges) / graduate schools should submit transcripts of both universities (Colleges) / graduate schools.
• Credits for every unit, the grade, GPA or rate by percentage, full score of each subject should be marked.
• Refer to [Form 8] entering grade online application.
• If you can not convert grade into percentage or G.P.A. (Full score 4.0/4.3/4.5), you need to submit WES (World Education Services) evaluation. (The grade should be given for every subject.)

Agreement of Academic Background Inquiry

Collection·Utilization·Supply Personal Information Agreement [Form 9]

Acceptable proof of funds (Minimum bank balance: $18,000)

• Submit the original document.
• Bank statements in applicant’s (or his/her parents’) name showing the balance of the account.
• Submit documents issued in less than a month from application acceptance deadline.
• The bank balance should be kept until the planned entrance date.
• Marking your own country’s currency is allowed but the conversion to USD should be written together.

Applicant of art unit should submit their own work of art or accomplishment additionally.

Proof of Language (Korean or English) Proficiency Test Results

• Applicants for scholarship
• Submit at least one of the documents listed below.
• The certificate is valid only if issued within two years of the deadline for submission.
• Students entering Fall Semester will not receive a foreign scholarship for their first semester.
• Applicants that applied for Graduate School of Industry and Graduate School of Entrepreneurial Management cannot get scholarship.

Important Reminders

• All documents are valid only if issued within one year of the deadline for submission.
• If documents are written in other languages than English or Korean, they should be submitted along with notarized copies translated into English or Korean.
• An applicant can only apply to one department.
• If any documents are found to be false, your admission to Hanbat University will be revoked.
• Applicants’ application will not be considered if you have not submitted all the required documents.
• Applicants are responsible for any disadvantages if there are any false statements in the application forms.
• The applicants will take full responsibility for any disadvantages arising from no response, change the contact, no visa, etc.
• Applicants’ application cannot be canceled once you have paid the application fee, and the fee is not refundable.
• The admission will be cancelled if the tuition fee is not paid in the designated period.
• Applicants’ contact number should be written accurately.
• If there is any difference in interpretation between the Korean Application Guideline and the English version, it is based on the contents written in Korean.
