Introduction

The Department of Building and Plant Engineering, Hanbat National University, which is the one and only founded in the national university in Korea, is based on the historically deep-rooted Department of Building Services Engineering. Based on the accumulated educational and research outcomes, we aim at breeding up advanced engineers who can cover the high-tech building and plant systems, and retain globally competitive educational systems for this objective.

• We teach and conduct research about not only fundamental knowledge on the buildings, plant facility, energy systems, but also in-depth knowledge and technology about the synthetic facility design, construction and management.
• We aim at breeding up globally competitive and creative engineers through the reorganization to the Department of Building and Plant Engineering embracing plant systems which performs a major role for advancing to the high technology - and knowledge - based information society.

Courses after Graduation

Acquiring creative thinking skills as well as comprehensive knowledge and technology based on the education about the facility, construction, energy and environment, graduates are advancing to various job markets including low-carbon green development industries, and their vision and roles are rapidly expanding.
