To earn the M.S. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, students must complete at least 24 credit hours of coursework at Hanbat National University.
First-semester courses provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical knowledge and technical skills.
In their second and third semesters, students take more advanced courses that delve deeper into specific areas of mathematics. All candidates must pass the General Qualifying Examination, which covers material from these courses.
In addition to basic and intermediate courses, we offer more advanced graduate courses in pure and applied mathematics depending on student’s mathematical interests. We also introduce students to areas in which our faculty are currently working.
